Eifeler Hof in Heimbach

Good home style restaurant. The food is good to very good, both light and hearty. The menu changes seasonally or depending on the occasion (e.g. Easter, Oktoberfest, Christmas, etc.), which makes a successful change and more frequent visits worthwhile. The professional service is resolute but friendly and quick, and the prices are reasonable. Overall, recommendable, especially after a hike through the Eifel, you can sit on the covered terrace (there only 4 tables, so reservations are recommended).

Very good down-to-earth food with a seasonal menu. I can especially recommend the goose during Martin's time! In winter it is cozy inside by the fireplace, in summer you can sit on the large terrace. There is also something for children to play with.

Rustic guest house in the heart of Heimbach, with regional specialties, excellent cuisine, also for the "big hunger" and friendly people in service ❣️And, all of this at reasonable prices, I can highly recommend everything ❣️😋❣️👌

Quaint pub with Bavarian flair. The food is good and ok for a stopover. The waitress who served me was very nice and helpful.

We were there at the Bavarian Week. The food was just great. Service very friendly ... Ambience a bit old but otherwise everything was great!

We had ordered a table for 6 5 days before. On arrival there was only one table for four available due to a mistake by another waitress. Well we have worked closely to this. After that we got 1 menu, on request a second one. Therefore deduction of 1 star for this circumstance. Food was very good and very plentiful. Reasonably priced and the service was perfect. Everything was very good, but unfortunately it was very tight.

Good food, a tasty German menu and large dishes, just the decor a bit old-fashioned.

Don't let the first impression fool you! This is a bit spartan and old-fashioned, a bit like a club bar. But when you've got your meal, that impression is over. Super tasty, plentiful and at an absolutely reasonable price. The menu is not that extensive, but there should be something for all tastes. Absolute recommendation from me.

We celebrated our daughter's confirmation there yesterday. From the first phone call, to the personal discussion, through the menu selection where good suggestions are made, to the last second of yesterday evening, we were treated very friendly and lovingly. The food and hospitality were great. Here, the well-being of the guest comes first. Not just the staff but also the lovingly laid table, invited us all to relax. A restaurant exactly to our taste. Which has also contributed to the fact that this day remains in wonderful harmonic memories. A big thank you from us, all of our guests and especially from Laura

The food was tasty and the service was nice. From the terrace you can have a pleasant view of the city and the castle. We stopped by during a bike ride. Only 4 ⭐️ because the prices were too high for what you get (Schnitzel for 16€).

Ambience in the interior in need of improvement (but possibly also to be blamed for the Corona time), but the food was absolutely great, great veal schnitzel and very quick, competent and friendly service. Are very full and happy home.

Despite Corona times, they quickly got a table, if you want to sit outside when the weather is nice, you should better reserve. Service was super friendly even made me a special request for the drink, food came quickly and looked good at first glance. But unfortunately the sauce from the schnitzel seemed to come from the industrial bag and the taste was really weak, which unfortunately ruined the good schnitzel and greatly tarnished the otherwise positive impression.

Delicious eaten in the Eifeler Hof, after a long hike. This is not the first time and food is good here. Nice service, today there was goose - yum! The atmosphere is Gasthaus-cozy, but at some point they will have to modernize something.

The waitress wasn't very friendly. Also we discovered that what seemed to be regular guests received a different menu than the one we received. The menu they received had much more options to choose from! We probably received the tourist version. Very dissapointing.

The restaurant is located in the middle of Heimbach and is furnished in typical Eifel charm. The staff was really friendly, the food was tasty and adequate. The starter was bread with goose fat. Price absolutely reasonable. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant. We will definitely come back next time we stay in Haimbach.

Tasty food, friendly people (family owned business), and cozy decoration. There were four of us; we had 2 craft beers, 1 bottle of sparkling water, 3 snitzel portions, 1portion of fish and 1 portion of goulash. We payed €80 (€72 plus €8 tip which we were willing to offer). The food is delicious and if you weight less than 60kg get HALF portion of whatever you order. It's more than enough. The atmosphere inside and the decor is picturesque, worthy of taking pictures. The grannie behind the desk is so kind and adorable! Highly recommended if you wanna taste true local cuisine.

Very delicious and traditional German food. I really liked my pork steak with Rösti. If you avoid grilled and fried foods, I can recommend local Tafelspitz, my wife really liked it. The location is very central, just on the opposite side of a beautiful city hall
